"NewTimey.org is a new podcasting network based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

We currently feature three shows, The New Timey Radio Hour, The Stories of O, and The Encyclopedia Show Omaha.

The New Timey Radio Hour is a podcast for premiere theatrical works. Our goal is to record a monthly show in front of a live audience, which will then be cut into weekly episodes, released every Friday. The scripts are new plays by burgeoning playwrights, performed and directed by talented members of Omaha's theatre community, accompanied by music and sound effects and the responses of the live audience.

The Stories of O podcast is a monthly storytelling session recorded in downtown Omaha at a potluck dinner party in the historic Bemis Bag Warehouse. It features true stories, told without notes and props, as told by members of Omaha's creative community. The live host and curator is Kevin Lawler.

Our newest show, The Encyclopedia Show Omaha podcast, represents recorded selections from The Encyclopedia Show Omaha, the local arm of the spoken word phenomenon from Chicago. The theme of each month is decided on according to a Volume of the Encyclopedia, with each performer developing a piece based on a sub-topic suggested by the fan community. The live shows are organized and hosted by Katie F-S and Andrew Ek."
